What Clarivo does

Four simple supports, one calm app

Each one is designed with older adults in mind: large, clear, unhurried, and never a test.

A memory vault

The people, places and stories that make someone who they are, gathered by family and shared back gently. Things to steer around stay private to care partners.

Step by step

Any task, broken into one step at a time. Making tea, getting dressed, watering the plants. "Show me that again" is always fine, and stopping is never a failure.

Gentle spoken reminders

A soft chime, then the reminder read aloud in a calm voice, even when the phone is locked. Choose a woman's or a man's voice. It never mentions being late.

A circle of care

Family stays in the loop with a calm daily summary. Each person sees only what they've been allowed to see, and the person at the centre decides.

More ways Clarivo helps

Something for everyone in the circle

Clarivo supports the person living with memory changes and the people who care for them, in different ways.

For the person you support

  • Help finding the words. Tap a phrase like "I'm thirsty" and the phone says it aloud. Describe someone ("the one with the cat") and Clarivo finds the name.
  • Conversation starters from their own life. "Tell me about the Cape Cod summer." Easy ways into a good chat with visitors and grandchildren.
  • A calm start to every morning. Who's around today, what happened yesterday, and what's next, one thing at a time.
  • A private journal with gentle prompts. Space to write a few words about the day, kept between them and their care partners.
  • Easy to see, easy to tap. Large text, big buttons and clear colours. Nothing is ever timed, scored or graded.

For you, the care partner

  • Ready for the doctor's appointment. A clear summary of the last few months, built from what you've noted day to day, so nothing important is forgotten in the room.
  • Notice the good days too. Record good moments alongside hard ones, and see what has helped before, like "a cup of tea has helped 3 times."
  • Know when a dose is taken. When they tap "I've taken it", you can see it, without having to call and ask.
  • Bring the family in, with limits. Invite a grandchild or neighbour to stay close. They see only what's been agreed, and can't change anything.
  • Emergency details in one place. Contacts, the family doctor and key medical notes, there for everyone in the circle when it matters.
  • A private space for you. Caring is hard work. Keep track of how you're doing, privately. Nobody else in the circle can see it.

How it works

From first setup to a steady morning

Setup takes a few minutes, saves as you go, and you can stop partway.

  1. 1

    Set it up together

Add a profile, one daily routine, and one memory worth keeping. The app is never empty on day one.

    Family
  2. 2

    Pair their phone, once

A one-time six-digit code links their phone. After that it stays signed in, so the person you support never needs a password.

    Family
  3. 3

    Start each morning

Who's around, what happened yesterday, and today's plan, one thing at a time.

    Your loved one
  4. 4

    Stay close

See how things are going, notice good moments, and share the load with the rest of the family.

    Everyone

Their information, their choice

Built on dignity, not surveillance

Clarivo was designed from the start around consent and Canadian privacy expectations.

They decide what's shared

Sharing choices belong to the person themselves, or the person they've chosen to decide for them. Nothing is shared until it's agreed to.

Families can see who looked

Every time someone opens their information, it's recorded. Care partners can read that record in plain language.

No scores, no diagnoses

Clarivo describes days kindly. It never grades, tests or labels the person it's there to support.
